Piano Concerto in A major, K414; in C major; E flat major, K449 Gottlieb Wallisch (piano) Piatti Quartet Linn CKD 424 Domestic alternatives which Mozart often played, popular in his time. These are satisfying accounts which we have enjoyed. Wallisch has a way with his Steinway D which reconciles me to modern pianos, with their advantage that dynamic balance with the strings is naturally easier and more equal than on period performances in which the piano is naturally quieter than the strings (c.f.
